United Way is an effective way to give to an array of human service organizations in our community. This year, United Way will support 30 programs that provide meals to seniors, books and mentors to children and a safe place for abused women and neglected children to stay.
Once a year, United Way of Cascade County turns to our community and asks for your support. Local volunteers decide where donations go and a local board of directors determines our direction.
The United Way campaign gives people the flexibility to direct their donations to specific nonprofits that are close to their hearts or build the community as a whole by giving to United Way. Many businesses make it even easier for employees to give by offering to deduct money out of each paycheck. United Way’s campaign is built on often small contributions from many donors.
We have a roster of nonprofit leaders and volunteers ready to speak to businesses or organizations about the impact your donations to United Way have on local nonprofits and the community as a whole. You can arrange your speaking engagement by contacting us and we’ll be happy to coordinate around your schedule.
